Western Herbal medicine

Herbal medicine has been practiced for centuries. It is the use of plants, parts of plants or preparations made from plants, to treat a wide range of health problems. In western herbal medicine, the herbs come mainly from Europe, the Middle East or the Americas. Herbs may be given in the form of tinctures, teas, creams, ointments or syrups.

At the first consultation, the herbalist will take a full medical history from you and discuss aspects of your diet and lifestyle. After discussing the findings with you, the herbalist will draw up an individual prescription of herbs. It is suitable for all age groups from the very young to the elderly.
