The BBC have recently published an article reporting that in it's draft guidance for England, the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE) recommends acupuncture as one of the treatments to be recommended by GPs to patients with chronic pain not caused by injury or other medical conditions as an alternative to prescribed opioids.
