Homeopathy
is a treatment using natural remedies to stimulate the natural ability
we all have to heal ourselves. A correctly selected homeopathic remedy
is chosen to match the individual as well as the complaint. This requires
a detailed consultation, although some acute remedies can be prescribed
more quickly and purchased over the counter.
People often wonder what the difference is between a homeopath and
a medical homeopath. A homeopath can have completed a course from
1 to 3 years with no medical or clinical training included. They do
not have to be registered with any association or regulating body
to practice. A medical homeopath will have completed 6 years training
in conventional medicine before moving on to do a 3 year postgraduate
course in homeopathy. This will give the doctor a far greater understanding
of the patient, the complaint and any conventional medication the
patient may already be taking. Most medical homeopaths are members
of The Faculty of Homeopathy, the governing body for homeopathy in
the United Kingdom.
Homeopathy can treat many conditions successfully for all ages including
- colic, teething pain, eczema and other skin conditions, asthma,
PMS and menopause syndrome, depression, anxiety, headaches, Arthritis,
Allergies of all kinds, addiction, Hypertension, infertility and many,
many more. |
